Innokin Kroma Kit Review

Innokin’s iTaste Kroma is a diminutive sub-ohm kit that easily fits at the palm of your hand.

If you want to replace the coil, just simply remove the top cap of the SlipStream tank; there is no need to take the tank off. Of note, the device will automatically ask you to select the coil type being used after you screw in a new tank and replace the coil. Although it has its own safety feature, it is still best if you actually know the type of coil you are using.
The kit is equipped with an Aethon chipset, which is fast, accurate, and reliable. The chip allows you to switch between voltage wattage and temperature control modes with your common coil metal types, namely nickel, titanium, and stainless steel. It boasts of a precise temperature control, promising no dry hits and a quick 0.2-second fire time. The chip has a noise cancellation feature on the power output and can evenly heat the coil heads. It can disperse heat and can preserve longer coil life by preventing hot spots in the coil. Actually, it is quite cool for Innokin to install this chip on a pretty small device as it did in the MVP4 box mod.
The Kroma is powered by an internal 2,000-mAh battery with 2 amp charging support. Charging can be done through the micro-USB port and can last to up to 90 minutes. It uses a pass-through feature.
It also has a high quality OLED screen display located at the side of the device that contains all the necessary information you can possibly need. The fire button is also large enough and is perfectly placed on how the contours of the mod fit your hand.

If you have already tried any Innokin device, then using the iTaste Kroma will not be difficult for you. Just like all its other devices, three successive clicks will switch the mod’s power on and off. Pressing the power and up buttons for 3 seconds together allows you to toggle between the variable wattage and temperature control modes. Simply give the up or down button a 3-second long click until the numbers appear if you want to change wattage, then set your prefered wattage after using the up and down buttons. Pressing the power and down buttons together for 3 seconds when in temperature control mode activates the pre-boost ramp-up that allows you to select your output wattage between 25 and 75 watts.
Press the up and down buttons simultaneously together if you want to display the puff counter, ohm reading accurate to the fifth decimal place, and current battery voltage reading. Giving the up and down buttons a 5-second long press will flip the menu’s orientation for left- or right-handed users. All these instructions can be found in the user manual included in the kit.
